But it is still damn funny!
We went into the theatre with the low brow expectations of the previous Scary Movies, and soon were giggling, then laughing, and finally out loud going out loud burst out enjoying ourselves.
If you want to spend a few hours enjoying a movie instead of getting brow beaten with intellectual crap that will make you feel like the world & yourself are dirty scum. This movie is for you. The fun in this movie is that it takes & twists all of the silly lame-assed "horror" movies, makes fun of them all, and still maintains a semi-semblance of a plot line.
I know I have said this before, and I will most likely say this many times over after seeing the summer lineup.
HOLLYWOOD CANNOT MAKE GOOD HORROR ANYMORE!
Most likely is the fact that they are based is Kalifornia, the land that made P.C. not a reference to computers, but how to be the least offensive to anyone & everyone that you might possibly come in contact with.
But that will be a rant for later.
This movie makes fun of the crap dealt out to us as scary movies that were actually so dull that I & others have fallen asleep several times. {I'm sorry Wolf Creek sucked the pus out of inflamed dingo boils}, I fell asleep several times on that one because IT LOOKED LIKE A FUCKING HOME VIDEO OF A ROAD TRIP, THEN TURNED INTO A BAD FRESHMAN FILM STUDIES PROJECT!!!!!!!!
Just do not buy the DVD that came out on that one. If you do, make sure you can re-gift it to someone you do not like. It is that bad.
But back to Scary Movie 4. Go See it. You won't regret it.
But save a snooch to see CLERKS 2, Jay & Silent Bob take on Moobie.
